The Making & Craft

Prota Fiori approaches innovation through the language of Italian shoemaking. New materials are considered not simply for what they replace, but for what they can bring to a shoe: texture, structure, movement and finish. In the hands of Italian artisans, material experimentation meets generations of specialized knowledge.

01 · Materials

Italian apple skin from the Dolomites, biologic silk from Lake Como and recycled polyamide made in Italy are among the materials selected for their distinctive qualities and their possibilities in footwear.

02 · Craftsmanship

Each pair is handcrafted in Le Marche, Italy's oldest and most historic shoemaking district, where cutting, stitching, construction and finishing draw on generations of specialized knowledge.

03 · Innovation

For Prota Fiori, invention begins within the making itself: exploring how material, construction and silhouette can evolve together without losing the rigor of Italian craft.
